BACKGROUND

Academy Hacker began as a side project. Matt Smith was consulting for several ecommerce companies and realized these clients were extremely interested in selling elearning products but they did not know where to start. In a few weeks, Academy Hacker was born. Academy Hacker was and still largely is a place where courses are redeemed and consumed. There are 1000s of stores all over the web offering Academy Hacker courses for sale. Typically these stores install our app, Shop Hacker, which allows any Shopify merchant to instantly add and then resell any courses on Academy Hacker in their own store.

Academy Hacker is made with love from Los Angeles, California, USA. Our passion for business, elearning, and technology means we will continue to invest in this course marketplace in order to better serve our customers and instructors. In a technology-driven world where applications and coding experience give you superpowers, there is no better way to learn the skills of tomorrow than by studying elearning today. Mastering the technology of your chosen profession is one of the best ways to level up in your career. And the best way to study the latest technology is elearning. Watching an instructor execute each line of code or click gives you the tactical knowledge you need to master this new skill set. Reading books helps with strategies where elearning can give you those much-needed tactics.

While Academy Hacker started with courses focused on development, design, and business we have now expanded into any category you can imagine. Our passion is educating our students and making sure our Shopify merchants have relevant courses to resell.

However, you use the Academy Hacker platform we are here to support you along your journey. We thank our students, instructors, and merchants for believing in us and continuing to support our dreams.

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

― Walt Disney
